KARLA ANTOSCA, a vampire.

Karla Antosca was born to immigrant parents in 1887, raised in a riverside home in London like other newly-monied merchant families who can't yet buy property closer to the heart of the city. Thanks to her Italian father and German mother, Karla grew up multilingual, and after receiving her education she was quickly involved as a bookkeeper in her father's business of importing sugars and timber. After taking a bad loan from a business partner, Karla's father was encouraged to arrange a marriage between said partner and Karla, to which she understandably had strong reservations about; she was only seventeen at the time.

Rather than marry, Karla chose to leave home instead. On her way to visit family in Germany, however, Father came upon her and enticed her to spend an evening with him. She's never left his side since.

In modern times, she has a contentious relationship with Hunter Theron, whose family has long been plagued by Father's attentions. She plays with him, and he... well, sometimes he plays along. It's all very sweet.
